Zebra: Kensington Books

In USA Today bestselling author Sally MacKenzie’s charming Spinster House series, love is always a welcome guest…

Two possible futures loom before Miss Anne Davenport. The first option: sharing an unhappy home with her father and soon-to-be stepmother. The second: a life of independence at the Spinster House—if only her friend, Cat, would vacate the premises and marry the Duke of Hart. A well-placed whisper about the pair’s secret tryst might speed the course of true love. But the duke’s stubborn cousin poses an obstacle. A ridiculously handsome, very persuasive obstacle…

Nate, Marquess of Haywood, has spent his life looking out for the duke, hoping to stave off a family curse. The only way to keep his cousin alive is to keep him single. That means convincing the intriguing Miss Davenport that her lovely lips could be put to far better use than gossiping. Kissing, for instance. In fact, Nate is beginning to hope that Miss Davenport’s destiny lies not in the Spinster House at all, but with him …

Release Blitz: Somewhere in Between by Shirl Rickman

Title: Somewhere In Between
Author: Shirl Rickman
Release Date: April 26, 2016

The art of romance is dead…

Tessa Collins loves people. She loves her job, loves her family—and on most days, loves her crazy best friend, Chad. Determined and independent, Tessa believes in love; she just doesn’t believe romantic love really exists anymore. Real love is for fools.

Jaded and closed off: That’s what they say about Lenox Malone...
He believed in love once; loved his girl, loved writing—Lenox loved romance when the whole world believed it was dead. But then he was scarred by it, and alone. Finally moving past the pain love ignited inside him, he never wants to risk being jaded again.

A journal and a chance encounter…

When the handwritten words of a lovesick stranger find their way into her hands, Tessa’s heart begins to… open. To flutter. To grow. To invite inside her weary heart the possibility that perhaps romance and true love really do exist.

But can it exist for her? Can a chance connection and fate’s design unlock one of the greatest love stories of all?

Their own.

When we came in, I noticed the robe. This will be perfect because I won't have to dig through her drawers. She sits down as I directed while I grab the robe. I can hear her humming, and when I turn around, she’s now trying to yank the shirt she’s wearing over her head.

Arms stuck straight up in the air, unable to move anymore; she murmurs from beneath the shirt, “Uh, Lenox? I’m stuck.”

This time, I do laugh as I walk over to her.

“Stay still. I’ve got this,” I inform her.

Tessa does exactly what I tell her to do as I lift the shirt over her head. I try to keep my eyes off of her, off the smooth skin of her shoulders, off her perky breast.

Kneeling in front of her, I pull off her jeans, and they move over her hips and down her legs. Her smooth, long, beautiful legs. Oh shit, I need to hurry. Once I have them off, I start to stand up, but Tessa stops me when she twines her fingers through my hair. We’re eye level, our gazes locked.

Before I even know what’s happening, she pulls my head forward, pressing her lips against mine.

My mind racing, I freeze as her lips slowly, gently caress mine. Her lips feel so good. I need to stop this, pull away. But, it just feels so damn good. Better than I imagined. She whispers my name against my lips just before she slides to her knees in front of me, running her hands beneath my shirt. My grip on reality slips the moment she deepens the kiss. Pulling her closer, I take everything she wants to give me.

Almost as quickly as it began, it ends. My mother raised a gentleman, and this isn’t very gentlemanly. I lightly grip her shoulders and push her back.

“Tessa, we need to stop. You don’t know what you’re doing. I’d be an asshole if I let this continue,” I state, an edge to my voice because everything in me is at war with the words leaving my mouth.

She gazes at me with a dazed look in her eyes, lips swollen from our kiss. So damn beautiful. Her head dips in a small nod, I reach for the robe lying on the floor next to us, our eyes remaining connected. Pulling the robe over her shoulders, pulling one arm and then the other through the short, silky sleeves.

Once I tie it in front of her, I pull her back against me into a hug. I whisper against her ear, “One day.”

Cover Reveal: Sweet Sunshine by Jessica Prince

Author: Jessica Prince
Release Date: May 29, 2016

She’s a romantic at heart.

Chloe Delaney had three very specific wishes, growing up. She wished to stay settled in the small mountain town of Pembrooke, where she grew up, to one day be her own boss, and to fall in love with a man who would be willing to go to the ends of the earth for her. With her roots firmly planted in Pembrooke’s soil and her bakery, Sinful Sweets, thriving, two of her wishes have already come true. When a handsome single father moves to town, she’s certain she’s found the man to fill the role of wish number three.
The only problem is, you can’t force a frog to turn into a prince.

He isn’t the Prince Charming type.

When Derrick Anderson moved from Jackson Hole to the small town of Pembrooke, he did it determined to wipe the slate clean. After eight years spent trapped in a miserable marriage, he’s made a vow to never take the plunge again. He wants to be untethered, not tangled up in the strings that come with a committed relationship. He has his daughter, his career, and an ex-wife hell bent on making his life unbearable. His plate is already full.
The only problem is, he didn’t have a plan in place to protect his heart from her.

Neither of them were prepared for the course their lives would take. But once a rollercoaster begins to move, you can’t just climb off, now can you?

The only thing they can do is strap in, hold on tight, and enjoy the ride.

I’d always thought of Chloe as cute, pretty in a girl-next-door kind of way. But when I stepped through the doorway leading to the backyard, the sight before me was one I hadn’t expected. She looked… well, hot. She was the type of woman who wore minimal makeup, and it worked for her, but now… now those big doe eyes of hers stood out, and the way her hair hung down her back in wild, attractive curls… I couldn’t quite put my finger on why she appeared so different, I just knew she did.

And the way my dick twitched behind my fly screamed to the fact that it was not a good thing. Head out of the fucking gutter, Anderson. Chloe wasn’t the type of woman I needed to ogle shamelessly. She was a friend, someone I cared about. She was the type of woman you kept, putting a ring on her finger and surrounding her with a white picket fence and a shit load of kids. And as a man unwilling to give her what she deserved, I needed to get myself in check.

Because she deserved better than anything I was capable of giving her.

Born and raised around Houston Texas, Jessica spent most of her life complaining about the heat, humidity, and all around pain in the ass weather. It was only as an adult that she quickly realized the cost of living in Houston made up for not being able to breathe when she stepped outside. That's why God created central air, after all.

Jessica is the mother of a perfect little boy--she refuses to accept that he inherited her attitude and sarcastic nature no matter what her husband says.

In addition to being a wife and mom, she's also a wino, a coffee addict, and an avid lover of all types of books--romances still being her all time favs. Her husband likes to claim that reading is her obsession but she just says it's a passion...there's a difference. Not that she'd expect a boy to understand.

Jessica has been writing since she was a little girl, but thankfully grew out of drawing her own pictures for her stories before ever publishing her first book. Because an artist she is not.
